Placement testing is available for math, calculus readiness, writing and language.
Depending on the requirements of your program, you may need to take placement testing to ensure you can register for the appropriate level courses if you do not already have credits to fulfill the requirements of your program.
Placement testing requires access to a computer and high-speed internet.
Math Placement Tests
- Math Placement: Available now.
- Calculus Readiness: Available now.
Writing Placement
Learn about options for meeting First Year and Sophomore Writing requirements, as well as Directed Self-Placement.
Language Placement
Language placement tests cover grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension.
- French, German or Spanish Placement: Available now.
- Other languages (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Latin) require instructor approval for placement past the beginning level courses.

Office of Disability Resources
