University College Advising serves Undeclared Students and declared Professional Studies majors. 

If you have an advising question or need, you can:

  • schedule an appointment with your advisor,
  • email your advisor, 
  • call UC Advising at 828-262-2167, or
  • stop by 101 D.D. Dougherty for assistance between 8:30 AM-4:30 PM (Mon-Fri) or the front desk at the Hickory campus.

The Major Declaration deadline is October 1st. If you are eligible, declare your major in AppalNet now.
