- Go to the Bulletin and select the Undergraduate Bulletin for the year you started at App State.
- Using the Programs of Study link on the left side, find the Program of Study for your intended major. Open the Four Year Guide (FYG icon in the top right corner) and the General Education Requirements (link near the top of the Program of Study).
- Use these resources to make a list of the classes you need to take next. Include the course prefix, number and title in your list.
- Check the prerequisites for each class! Prerequisite information can be found at the end of the course description in the Undergraduate Bulletin. Use either the Bulletin search or the Courses search. Type or select the course prefix (e.g., STT) and course number (e.g., 2810). Click on the course link that appears to read the description.
- List several alternate classes in case those you want are full or have time conflicts.
